A quick read for a little break in your day. Some are niche, some are things you could go and buy if you wanted, but all 40 of them are equally appreciated by me as moments worth noting. I love reading those “things I find incredibly chic” lists so I guess this is my Kind of Cool equivalent.

3. A boulangerie in the 3rd arrondissement that does an incredible pain au chocolat, where they didn’t try to speak to me in English

9. When someone is excited to see you (and vice versa)

14. Meaningful jewellery as gifts bought for birthday milestones

15. DVD box sets of my favourite shows

16. When someone compliments my outfit but most of it is borrowed from my mum and I’m reminded how lucky I am that she’s cooler than me

18. A fuzzy, transported feeling when you hear Norah Jones’ voice

19. Yoghurt bowls after having not eaten yoghurt for a while

20. Long hugs from friends, none of that wimpy half way committed stuff
